Tuesday, 2/13

G block: Handed out copies of Their Eyes Were Watching God & began reading together with audio recording.  Breaks for notes on board, Q&A.
Homework: Quiz Thursday - anthology readings on Harlem Renaissance & Hurston, plus early chapters of Eyes.

A block: Continued reading Eyes with audio recording.  Finished chapter 1, continued into chapter 2.  Breaks for notes/questions/clarification.
Homework: Quiz Thursday -  anthology readings on Harlem Renaissance & Hurston, plus early chapters of Eyes.

C block: A few minutes to finish poetry packets, then discussed.
Homework: Quiz tomorrow - poetry terms and poems in packet.

D block: Finished poetry packets & discussed second set of poems.  Overview of quiz format. 
Homework: Quiz Thursday - poetry terms and poetry packet.
