Monday, 2/12

G block: Death of a Salesman essays due/collected.  Collected books.  Continued/finished last week's anthology readings/notes/questions on the Harlem Renaissance and Zora Neale Hurston.
Homework: Quiz Thursday - HR/ZNH anthology readings + early chapters of Their Eyes Were Watching God.

 A block: Quick review/recap of last week's anthology readings.  Handed out copies of Their Eyes Were Watching God and began reading together w/ audio recording.  Pauses for explanations, notes on board.  Will continue tomorrow.
Homework: Quiz Thursday - HR/ZNH anthology readings + early chapters of Their Eyes Were Watching God.

 C block: Lord of the Flies essays due/collected.  Collected books.  Continued working on poetry packet in anthology. 
Homework: Quiz Wednesday - poetry terms & questions in poetry packet. 

D block: Lord of the Flies essays due/collected.  Collected books.  Continued working on poetry packet in anthology.  Returned LOTF project. 
Homework: Quiz Thursday - poetry terms & poetry packet. 

E block: Handed out copies of Their Eyes Were Watching God & began reading together with audio recording.  Breaks for notes on board/explanations/Q&A.
Homework: Quiz Thursday - HR/ZNH anthology readings + early chapters of Their Eyes Were Watching God.
