G block: DOAS Act I quiz.  Began reading Act II.  A couple breaks/notes on board.  Got through page 86.
Homework: Vocab 6 quiz Wednesday.

A block: DOAS Act I quiz.  Began reading Act II.  A couple breaks/notes on board.  Got to middle of page 84.
Homework: Vocab 6 quiz Wednesday. 

C block: Continued discussion of the end of LOTF.  Main focus: allegory & symbolism, character significance.  Small group work & whole class discussion.  Returned LOTF 8-9 quizzes. 
Homework: Vocab 6 quiz Wednesday.  *No homework sentences for unit 6.

D block: Chapter 12 of LOTF due.  Discussed end of the novel & religious allegory - Simon's role & the boys' fate.  Notes on board. 
Homework: Vocab 6 quiz Thursday.  *No homework sentences for unit 6.

E block: Continued reading DOAS Act II.  Began on page 90, got to page 116.  A couple breaks for notes on board. 
Homework: Vocab 6 quiz Wednesday.
