Thursday, 10/12

C block: HF chapters 19-20 due.  Quiz: chapters 11-20.  Discussion/notes, mostly focused on Huck's time with the Grangerford family.
Homework: Read HF 21-23 for tomorrow.

D block: HF chapter 17 due.  Reviewed reading, then continued together, stopping to discuss the significance of the Grangerfords.  Got through most of ch. 18.  Notes on board.
Homework: Read HF 18 (remaining pages) & 19 for tomorrow.

E block: Continued review of TGG chapter 1.  Worked in small groups on character notes, then shared w/ the rest of the class.  Handed out setting maps.
Homework: TGG chapter 2 due tomorrow.

G block: Shared yesterday's small group work - character notes.  Discussed a couple other notes/details from ch. 2.  Returned vocab unit 2 quizzes.
Homework: TGG chapter 3 due Monday - reading quiz.
