Tuesday, 12/5

C block: Lord of the Flies ch. 5 due.  Worked in groups - quotation analysis.  Will continue tomorrow.
Homework: Vocab 5 sentences due tomorrow.  LOTF 6-7 due Friday, 8-9 due Monday.

D block:  Lord of the Flies ch. 5 due. Finished yesterday's discussion/notes on Ralph & Jack's character developments.  Began group work on quotation analysis - will continue tomorrow.
Homework: Vocab 5 sentences due tomorrow.  LOTF ch. 6-7 due Friday.

E block, G block: Vocab 5 sentences due, collected.  Transition to next work: Death of a Salesman.  Read Arthur Miller's "Tragedy and the Common Man," discussed/took notes.  Background info on Arthur Miller & historical context for the play.
Homework: Vocab 5 quiz Monday.
