Tuesday, 10/24

A block: Checked TGG chapter 4 worksheets for hw credit, then reviewed.  Notes on board.  Returned vocab unit 3 sentences.
Homework: Vocab 3 quiz tomorrow.  TGG chapter 5 due Thursday (time to read after vocab quiz tomorrow)

C block: Quick discussion/opinions about recent chapters (35-36 due today) & Tom Sawyer's return to the novel.  Continued yesterday's activity, tracking & graphing Huck's moral growth throughout the novel.
Homework: Vocab 3 quiz tomorrow.

D block: Huck Finn 32-33 due.  Began activity introduced yesterday - tracking & graphing Huck's moral growth.  Returned vocab unit 3 sentences.
Homework: Vocab 3 quiz tomorrow.

E block: Returned vocab 3 sentences and TGG chapter 1-3 quiz.  Looked back at TGG characters' bad behavior so far, as representation of Fitzgerald's criticism of the 1920s & shift in the American Dream.
Homework: Vocab 3 quiz tomorrow.  TGG chapter 6 due Friday - reading quiz, ch. 4-6.
