A block: Handed out vocab books & reviewed format for homework. Handed out note packets for Transcendentalist readings/notes/questions. Read/discussed first section together, read next two sections independently.

C block: Finished discussion of SLOB minor characters, then discussed/analyzed Kidd's use of symbolism. Notes on board.

D block: Introduced SLOB reflection assignment - motherly influence/figure in your life. Worked in small groups analyzing a SLOB minor character, then shared results w/ the class. Covered T. Ray, Rosaleen, Zach. Will finish tomorrow.
